Schedule

I need a schedule or to do list every day. I think the reason for that it is because of my job. For 180 days I am making to do list so then during summer I need to do it, too. I know that my husband doesn't care about my list or schedule but I need it. For example, Hubus and I have summer schedule. Of course sometimes we have to make changes but most of time it works for us. Probably for most of you my schedule will be so boring, but I can't live it without it.

Monday- Speech Therapy Day; Mrs. Ewa is coming and play with Hubus
Tuesday- Zoo Day; we go to Brookfield Zoo and enjoy seeing and talking about animals
Wednesday- Day Care Day; Hubus visits his friends and mommy can have doctors appointments and clean the house
Thursday- Pirates' Cave or Grandma House Visit Day
Friday- Free Day; whatever we want to do or we have to do (shopping, laundry, pool, library)
Saturday and Sunday- Family Day

These movies are from our last visit to the zoo.

Our Vacation 2012

This year we went to Gatlinburg in Smoky Mountains, Tennessee.

On Monday we found that we are having another boy. On Tuesday my husband informed me that he rented the cabin in Gatlinburg for 3 nights. Next day we left Elk Grove Village. Our trip was sooooooo long, 12 hours. First, there was a huge accident in Indiana. All lanes were closed, so we lost 2 hours. Then my husband decided to take shortcut; however, it was not really great shortcut. He left the highway for small streets. It was not a good decision. Finally, it took us about a hour to find our cabin.  But then we started enjoying our vacation. Of course the first thing my husband and Hubus did was getting to the hot tub. Next day we went to Aquarium, took a tramway, saw bears, and walked on the Cherokee trial (just a little part). Following day we decided to see Laurel Waterfall (our street name). It was 2 miles walk one way. Hubus was so good and mommy, too. Hubus fell asleep when we went down. We had a great time.

Swimming Class

Every year we are taking a swimming class. This year Hubus was so good that his teacher said that he can take the next lesson with older kids. I am so exciting because in that level I don't have to go inside the pool.

Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village is a town for all people. I am so happy that we live here. There are so many attractions and events for everybody. For example, this week there was a big fest. Hubus enjoyed playing different games and then next day he enjoyed watching the parade.

Pirates' Cove

It is one of our favorite places. At least once a week we play there.

Millennium Park

On Friday Hubus and I took Blue Line train to go to Chicago Downtown. Hubus never took a train before, so it was exciting experience for us. First, Hubus was a little afraid (it was loud) but going back he fell asleep on mommy's lap (it was so cute).

Mini Golf

Last Sunday we went to play golf in Mountain View Mine Miniature Golf in Des Plaines. It is a very beautiful place. Even though we didn't play well, we had a great time.

Speech Therapy

Our summer is not just fun staff but also we are busy to improve our speech. Hubus is getting a speech therapy once a week. However, it is not enough so mommy is trying her best to incorporate learning with fun staff. Hubus' speech is delayed to compare his peers, so we decided to start working on that.

Since I have more time to play and teach Hubus at the same time, he has learned so much.

Daj mi (give me)
Sam (by himself)
Ja (I)
Malpa (monkey)
Buty (shoes)
Rzuc (throw)
Lap (catch)
Chodz tu (come here)
Oko (eye)
Nos (nose)
Bajka (Story)
Dzieci (children)
Jeszcze (more)
....... there is probably more but I don't remember now

Maybe there is not a lot but there is a huge improvement since we started. Now he wants to repeat the word after us, he is able to separate words into syllables and he uses his sign language less. I just wish he will have more time to practice his speech, but unfortunately he can have his speech therapy until his birthday. But maybe that will be enough. We will see. We are making progress.

Summer Time

Last week we started our summer vacation. We have been so busy since that. We went to the Brookfield Zoo two times, visited Pirate's Cove a few times and played with our cousin in our grandma's house. We will enjoy this summer. This is the last summer just three of us, daddy, mommy and Hubus. Next summer there will be somebody else...... We can't wait to have the baby with us, but now we will enjoy our summer just three of us. Next year the summer will be much different.

Hubus loves to push the wagon. Now he can push around the block. And I think his cousin enjoys, too.

This year Hubus is painting his face by himself. He says SAM (which means by himself)

We took Safari Motor. We called that a train.

Whenever we are in the Zoo we can't skip this. We love it!!!!
