Hubus and December Continue

Look what we are doing in December

Look what we are doing in December. Hubus is learning a lot.
1. We started doing the Calendar every day. We are learning how to count.
2. Hubus loves to play on Ipad. He is learning letters and easy words.
3. Hubus loves reading magazines and books
4. He is trying to eat by himself.
5. And of course potty training. (I think we made it; we needed two weeks but finally, Hubus started asking if he has to go potty!!!! Yeah!!!!

Hubus and December Continue

Today Santa Claus came to our house and brought Christmas Tree. Unfortunately, Hubus didn't see him because my little boy was taking a nap, but he helped mom and dad decorate the tree. Now we are waiting for gifts from Santa Claus.

Hubus And December

On Saturday Emilka, my sister, came to take pictures for our Christmas Cards. She did excellent job. Hubus had fun eating chocolate eggs and playing with Christmas decorations.

Emilka, thank you so much!!!!

One More Time/ Curious George

Yesterday we watched Curious George. Hubus loves this crazy monkey. I recorded this movie so I can play it for him whenever he wants. Consequently, we watched a little more before we went to sleep. I love to watch him watching cartoons. I am so amazing that he understands them. For example, whenever he watches Dora or Diego he is able to answer (says Tak (yes) or No) on their questions. It is so cute.

Explanations of Hubus' sign language:
Showing a finger means one more time

Haircut

We decided to cut Hubus' hairs at home because he hates doctors and hairdressers. I hope one day it will change. However, this time I didn't see any tears. This is big success. From now on a daddy will be his hairdresser.

Fall 2011

Hubus is really a helpful boy. He enjoys cleaning our backyard and playing with the leaves.

Hubus' Busy Weekend

Hubus had a really busy weekend. It started on Friday. We went to Halloween Feast in Elk Grove Park District. Hubus didn't want to dress up first, but when he saw many kids dressed up, I was able to convince him to wear at least part of his costume (he was a little boxer). Hubus enjoyed all games but his least favorite part was waiting in the line. Each time in the line, he cried until it was his turn. Hubus is a really good actor.

Then on Saturday we went to Brookfield Zoo (Boo at the Zoo). Unfortunately, the weather was not the best. It was cold about 55 degrees. However, Hubus enjoyed watching the chasing lions and playing with Fisher-Price toys in a big net.

Finally, Hubus celebrated his 2nd birthday with his close family. He got many great gifts such as a lawn mower (his favorite), dinosaurs toys, his first leap laptop, a TV with DVD player,  and cars. I can say that this year he enjoyed his birthday party better than last year when he was teething and didn't care about gifts and his guests.

Hubus in the Farm

On Columbus Day we went to the farm in Burlington. We were so lucky with weather. It was about 75 degrees. In addition, there were not many people because we got there at 9:00 am and we stayed until noon. However, when were were leaving, we saw many cars in the parking lot. Hubus enjoyed the pony ride and the wagon ride.

Patrick's Birthday

Last Saturday, we celebrated Patrick's Birthday (no. 2). It was so much fun. Patrick invited us to a new place in Woodfield Mall, Yu Kids Island. It is a perfect place for toddlers. They exercise, discover and have a blast.

Yo Gabba Gabba

Last Saturday we went to Rosemont Theater to see Yo Gabba Gabba. First, it was too loud for Hubus, so he didn't want to dance. But then he started to enjoy the concert. His favorite part was when he saw the big carrot during the song Party in my Tummy. Also, he enjoyed the falling snow and leaves during the song about seasons.

Hubus in the Movie Theater

On Saturday Hubus went to the movie theater. It was his first time watching the movie on the big screen. We watched The Lion King in 3D. It was my first time to see 3D movie, too. Hubus really enjoyed the seats and stairs. Most of time he didn't wear his glasses but he was upset when the movie was over. He was the only child who cried.

Hubus as a doctor

Hubus' dad had an accident. He cut his leg, so Hubus took care of his dad.  He might be a doctor!!!!

Legoland

On Monday we went to Legoland in Schaumburg. Hubus enjoyed the dragon train the most. I think we rode at least five time.
