Hubus' Busy Weekend

Hubus had a really busy weekend. It started on Friday. We went to Halloween Feast in Elk Grove Park District. Hubus didn't want to dress up first, but when he saw many kids dressed up, I was able to convince him to wear at least part of his costume (he was a little boxer). Hubus enjoyed all games but his least favorite part was waiting in the line. Each time in the line, he cried until it was his turn. Hubus is a really good actor.

Then on Saturday we went to Brookfield Zoo (Boo at the Zoo). Unfortunately, the weather was not the best. It was cold about 55 degrees. However, Hubus enjoyed watching the chasing lions and playing with Fisher-Price toys in a big net.

Finally, Hubus celebrated his 2nd birthday with his close family. He got many great gifts such as a lawn mower (his favorite), dinosaurs toys, his first leap laptop, a TV with DVD player,  and cars. I can say that this year he enjoyed his birthday party better than last year when he was teething and didn't care about gifts and his guests.

Hubus in the Farm

On Columbus Day we went to the farm in Burlington. We were so lucky with weather. It was about 75 degrees. In addition, there were not many people because we got there at 9:00 am and we stayed until noon. However, when were were leaving, we saw many cars in the parking lot. Hubus enjoyed the pony ride and the wagon ride.

Patrick's Birthday

Last Saturday, we celebrated Patrick's Birthday (no. 2). It was so much fun. Patrick invited us to a new place in Woodfield Mall, Yu Kids Island. It is a perfect place for toddlers. They exercise, discover and have a blast.

Yo Gabba Gabba

Last Saturday we went to Rosemont Theater to see Yo Gabba Gabba. First, it was too loud for Hubus, so he didn't want to dance. But then he started to enjoy the concert. His favorite part was when he saw the big carrot during the song Party in my Tummy. Also, he enjoyed the falling snow and leaves during the song about seasons.
