January

January was another exciting month. We celebrated Natalia's birthday, attended the sport practice, and played with many interesting new things such as paint, play-doh, toothpicks,  and even the turkey baster.

I can't wait to do more fun things that I can find on pinterest website and from my teacher's friends blogs. Thank you all.

Day Care- Yeah!!!

On January 31 Hubus started going to the day care in Schiller Park. I like this place for a few reasons. First it is a new place,  next it is close to my work (just in case), and of course and the most important Hubus loves to play with other kids.
Of course, I felt nervous about starting a day care. I didn't know if he is ready and if he likes to stay there. But now I know my husband I made the right decision. It is a time.
The first week was great. Hubus and mommy cried a little bit but every day Hubus wanted to come back to play with children. Every morning he wanted to have his backpack and go..... On Friday he was upset that he was going to a grandma's house instead of the day care. He said, Baba no, but when I asked him if he wants to see children he said tak (yes).
I wonder how week 2 will look like because he will be all day from 7:00 to 3:15, so he will take a nap time. Last week we took him at 12:00 to just start slow. We will see. I know he will cry seeing me leaving but I know he will enjoy being there.

Martin Luther King Weekend

Wow it was so nice to have 3 days off. Like always we were busy. On Saturday we went to a dentist. It was Hubus's first time. Of course every tooth is great because Hubus brushes teeth almost every day (I  have to be honest). Sometimes Hubus is too busy or he doesn't have a mood to brush. On Sunday Hubus, grandma and mommy went to Muvico Rosemont. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks and ate popcorn. After a hour Hubus was bored with the movie so we left. On Monday we spent great time at house. We read books, played with toys, watched Curious George, ate delicious daddy's soup.

Delphin's Show

Last week we went to Brookfield Zoo. Since fall Hubus has been asking to go to zoo. I said that in the winter animals went back to their houses (mommy's little lie). However, I couldn't lie him anymore, so we decided to see the dolphin's show, so we wouldn't be cold.

We had so much fun. Hubus was exciting to go to zoo (his best place in the world) and see animals. The show was about half hour (perfect for Hubus not too long or short).

The Museum of Science and Industry

Hubus and I visited The Museum of Science and Industry on Friday. It was the first time but we know that it was not the last time. We had a great time. Hubus enjoyed The Farm Tech section the most because he saw cows and he could drive a tractor and a combine. An uncle/grandpa Leszek can be proud of him. Hubus had practice and now he can help him in his farm in Poland.

Sick Hubus

This week Hubus is sick. It is nothing serious but he has bad running nose. We went to his doctor and she gave him antibiotic. Consequently, we are trying to find interesting activities to do inside our home. For example, we made snow (thanks Liz for an idea). First, Hubus didn't want to touch it but then he started to pour from one bow to another. Also, we played memory game that Santa brought from him. Of course, we watched many dinosaurs movies. I think I already memorized all of them but Hubus still likes them. And, we played other Santa's gifts. For example, Hubus practiced riding his new bicycle (bike). I can wait for spring so we can practice outside and have more room. But the most exciting part of the day was when I open a box with Hubus' old toys which I collected and put in the closet during summer. Wow what great memories I had and probably Hubus had.

Winter Break 2

Sometimes we are to busy to eat lunch. So we are eating while we are sleeping. It is called "not wasting time."
