The Museum of Science and Industry

Hubus and I visited The Museum of Science and Industry on Friday. It was the first time but we know that it was not the last time. We had a great time. Hubus enjoyed The Farm Tech section the most because he saw cows and he could drive a tractor and a combine. An uncle/grandpa Leszek can be proud of him. Hubus had practice and now he can help him in his farm in Poland.

Sick Hubus

This week Hubus is sick. It is nothing serious but he has bad running nose. We went to his doctor and she gave him antibiotic. Consequently, we are trying to find interesting activities to do inside our home. For example, we made snow (thanks Liz for an idea). First, Hubus didn't want to touch it but then he started to pour from one bow to another. Also, we played memory game that Santa brought from him. Of course, we watched many dinosaurs movies. I think I already memorized all of them but Hubus still likes them. And, we played other Santa's gifts. For example, Hubus practiced riding his new bicycle (bike). I can wait for spring so we can practice outside and have more room. But the most exciting part of the day was when I open a box with Hubus' old toys which I collected and put in the closet during summer. Wow what great memories I had and probably Hubus had.

Winter Break 2

Sometimes we are to busy to eat lunch. So we are eating while we are sleeping. It is called "not wasting time."

Winter Break

Whenever I have the break from work/school, I always try to take Hubus to different places and do fun things.  For example, last week we went to Jumps n' Jiggles in our Park District. Hubus has been going to this place since he started crawling. He loves it. Also, we went to library to read books about Dinosaurs (his favorite animal since his 2nd birthday). Of course we couldn't miss Kids Place in Woodfield Mall during my break.  Finally, we visited our cousins and grandparents. 

I wish to have more breaks during school year so I can spend time with my son. I love to watch him learning and exploring the world.

Look what we are doing in December

Look what we are doing in December. Hubus is learning a lot.
1. We started doing the Calendar every day. We are learning how to count.
2. Hubus loves to play on Ipad. He is learning letters and easy words.
3. Hubus loves reading magazines and books
4. He is trying to eat by himself.
5. And of course potty training. (I think we made it; we needed two weeks but finally, Hubus started asking if he has to go potty!!!! Yeah!!!!

Hubus and December Continue

Today Santa Claus came to our house and brought Christmas Tree. Unfortunately, Hubus didn't see him because my little boy was taking a nap, but he helped mom and dad decorate the tree. Now we are waiting for gifts from Santa Claus.

 On Saturday Emilka, my sister, came to take pictures for our Christmas Cards. She did excellent job. Hubus had fun eating chocolate eggs and playing with Christmas decorations.
